I believe in working collaboratively with my clients in order to provide the most effective and long-lasting support. My strength is building rapport with my clients which I believe to be the most important and fundamental component of the therapeutic alliance. I support my clients in developing goals and understanding the blocks that get in the way of achieving them. I commend my clients for their courage in wanting to make changes, grow and deepen their self-awareness. I encourage my clients to utilize self-compassion in understanding how their life experiences have influenced who they are. I work to empower clients to be able to tackle life’s stressors and obstacles. I practice from a non-judgemental, client-centred, strength-based and anti-oppressive approach.

I use cognitive behavioural strategies to help individuals gain better control over symptoms of anxiety which may include perfectionism, social anxiety and performance anxiety.
Depression
I support individuals in mitigating symptoms of lack of motivation, isolation, and negative thinking patterns.
Self-Esteem
I help individuals utilize self-compassion to combat critical self thoughts relating to their abilities and body image concerns.
Strengthening Relationships
I provide insights and strategies in managing relationships with friends, family, peers, teachers, employers etc.
Neurodivergence
I support individuals living with a neurodivergence and help them to utilize their strengths to the fullest and cope with the challenges that come with it.
Trauma
I always practice from a trauma-informed approach and support individuals who are ready to process adverse experiences, at their pace.
Grief and Loss
I support individuals in coping and processing the difficult feelings that come with the loss of loved ones and relationships.
Emotional Dysregulation
I work with individuals to better understand and increase tolerance of both positive and negative emotions. I provide tools to help to gain better control over reactions.
Life Transitions
I help individuals who are embarking on new life experiences or making changes to their lives. Together we work on facing the challenges and processing the feelings that come along with them.
