Jessica Hart, MSW, RSW (she/her)
I am a registered Social Worker with experience working with culturally diverse children, youth, adults and families in hospital, residential and health care settings. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from Dalhousie University, where I focused on child development and neurodivergence. I went on to pursue a Master of Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work in New York City, where I completed both my practicum placements at children’s hospitals in Israel. Most recently, I worked as part of a multidisciplinary team providing individual and group therapy to individuals aged 4 to adulthood and their families.
I am passionate about supporting people in harnessing their inner strength and resilience to achieve whatever they set their mind to do. I am inspired by the courage that I see in my clients in how they face adversities and their willingness to learn and grow. I feel so fortunate to be able to work in a field where I can support and empower others. When I am not counselling, I enjoy travelling, being active, bingeing shows on netflix and spending time with friends and loved ones.
